Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Heidi who lived high up in the Swiss Alps. One day, she heard about a wondrous place – a mountain far away, on the gentle Carinthian alpine pastures, the Falkert.
Curious, she set off. The wind carried her over valleys and peaks – well, with a little help from Heidi fan Gisela Köfer from the Heidi Hotel – until she finally found her new home: the Heidi Alm on the Falkert.
Since that day, Heidi has been telling her story here and inviting visitors young and old to see the world through her eyes: full of friendship, charity, animals, mountain air and warmth.
Because anyone who visits the Falkert can feel it – the magic of the mountains and the enchantment that lives in Heidi's world.
